Move files between your phone and your computer over your own Wi-Fi. The phone runs a small secure server, and the computer opens the link shown on the phone in a web browser: the devices don't have to find each other. Nothing to install on the PC, no account, no cable, no cloud.
Just file transfer: no ads, no feeds, no extra features. The server runs only while you need it: start it, transfer the files, stop it.
✅ WHAT IT DOES
👉 Send photos, videos and documents from any app on your phone to your PC
👉 Download one file at a time, or all of them as a single ZIP archive
👉 Send files from your PC to your phone: drag them onto the page and click Send
👉 Works without internet: the phone and the PC only need the same Wi-Fi network
❓ HOW IT WORKS
1️⃣ Choose files to send
2️⃣ Start the server
3️⃣ Open the link shown on the phone in any browser on your PC
4️⃣ Pass the browser warning: the app shows where to click and how to check it's your phone
5️⃣ Enter the PIN shown on the phone
6️⃣ Download the files, or send files to the phone
7️⃣ Stop the server when you're done
⚠️ WHY THE BROWSER WARNS YOU
The connection is encrypted with HTTPS, but the certificate is made by your phone, not issued by a public authority. Browsers warn about any certificate they don't know. That's expected, not a virus or a hack. The app shows the certificate fingerprint: continue only if it matches the one in the browser.
🔒 SECURITY
- The certificate key is created on the phone and never leaves it.
- A new PIN on every start. After the right PIN, only that one PC is connected and the PIN is no longer accepted.
- Three wrong PINs block that device. If more than three devices try to connect before the PC does, the server stops.
- The PC sees only the files you picked. It can't browse your phone.
- Files from the PC arrive only after you accept them on the phone.
- Nothing is uploaded anywhere: files go directly between your two devices.
📥 FILES FROM THE PC
- Android 10 and later: saved to Download/Transfer Tool and kept if you uninstall the app.
- Android 7 to 9: saved to the app's own folder and removed together with the app.
- The phone always keeps some free space: 500 MB by default, adjustable in Settings.
- Received files are listed in the app: tap one to open it, or delete it.
🧩 WORKS WITH OUR OTHER APPS
Transfer Tool works together with our other apps: your PC can download their private files in bulk, as one archive, filtered by date. First you confirm the access on the phone, with your screen lock if app lock is on. The access ends when the server stops, or after one hour at most.
🚫 WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
- It doesn't work over the internet or mobile data.
- Some guest and public networks don't let devices reach each other. Use your home Wi-Fi.
- The phone must join a Wi-Fi network: sharing the phone's own hotspot doesn't work.
- You pick files, not whole folders.
🔐 PERMISSIONS
- Notifications (optional) - while the app is in the background: the server with its link and PIN, the progress, and files from the PC to accept.
- Network access - to run the server on your Wi-Fi network.
No storage permission is needed: you pick files in the system file picker, and files from the PC are saved without it.
