Sento Japanese Watch Face

WabiFace Sento brings the glazed tilework of an old Japanese bathhouse to your Wear OS smartwatch.

🛁 THE TILEWORK
The dial is laid in majolica tile — the crackled, hand-glazed tile that lined the bathhouses and tearooms of Taisho-era Japan. Cobalt, cream, verdigris and terracotta, set with a fine grout line and finished with a polished steel rim.

🎨 FOUR TILE COLOURS
Ai (indigo), Seiji (celadon), Kaki (persimmon) and Sumi (charcoal). Only the glaze changes: the cream field and the deep blue hour markers stay as they are, so the dial is just as easy to read in every colour.

🕰 FIVE HAND COLOURS
Shirogane (steel), Kurogane (blackened), Ai (indigo), Kin (gold) and Shu (vermilion). Mix any hand colour with any tile colour.

🔢 FOUR COMPLICATIONS
One in each of the four corner tiles. Long-press the watch face to choose what they show — steps, heart rate, battery, weather and more. Three sizes, and five ink colours drawn from the dial's own glaze.

🕐 CLOCK AND DATE
A digital clock sits in the lower tile and the date in the upper one, both in the ink colour you choose. Either can be switched off, and so can the second hand.

⚫ ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
A black ground with twelve pale hour bars, the dimmed hands, the clock and the date. Burn-in safe and easy on the battery.
