Flipper White Watch Face

Paper, not an instrument. Two split-flap clock cards laid on a white sheet with a soft shadow, a hinge and steel axle pins, the time on them in a tall condensed face or stencil numerals. The weather and the date above, steps, pulse and notifications in three rings pressed into the paper below, and the battery a hairline on the rim that only shows a number when it runs low. One dark ink, one accent - nothing else.

SETTINGS

Background: six white papers - Heaven (engraved halo bands), Dream (watercolour), Spell (an engraved seal), Anchor (graph-paper vellum), Silence (a night of stars, the accent sparks among them) and Relic (ivory stock with a hand-tinted rose window).

Accent color: red, orange, gold, green, purple or ink - the day number, a low battery and the sparks in Silence.

Clock font: Condensed or Stencil. Temperature units: follow your phone, Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Always-on inverts the face: the cards as outlines, the time, the date, the battery and the readings, light on black.
